The controls worked for me. I think the variation of obstacles should change a bit more per character. That one spiky block annoys me so much.

I like the idea. But it loosely fits the theme for the Game Jam.

The gameplay mechanic is simple and fun when you have multiplayer. Although I think you should have ruse traps to trick players in using it. The music is very catchy.

I think I figured out how to play it. You use the mallet to hammer a crack in the floor and then hit again to explode at the right moment to kill skulls touching the heart.

It would be nice to have text to instruct you on how the game is played.

Interesting idea but this is sort of like "Missile Command". I can't seem to see where this fits with the Game Jam Theme.

The intro was cool. But I am lost in the game. I don't know what the goal is . Shoot the red cubes? Shoot the red sphere? The different icons to change the weapon was interesting.

I'm unable to get this game to work. Anti-virus says "pxfoundation.dll" is infected.

Although the overall idea is good I was not able to play this game to give a full review.

Nice theme. This is pretty much just a 3D platformer with no special mechanic that fits with the Game Jam Theme.

The obstacles could use more balancing and since some are almost impossible to cross unless I'm very lucky. Respawning in the beginning was a bit of a pain once you realize where you need to go.

The overall look of it was good but the gameplay needed more refinement. I am not sure what is the deal with the killer sheep versus your sheep. It would be nice to have some sort of introduction.

The second puzzle was a bit of a dark solution which means you need to kill yourself for each button. It would be nice to at least live to solve the puzzle though.

The development of the game was seen through but it need more playtests and refinement to make the playthrough less painful.

I think the idea of saving yourself from your death was a cool idea! This definitely follows the theme for sure!

It would be nice to explain a bit further what your ghost would need to do when your real self is repeating his actions. I realized that the ghost is supposed to destroy the cause of the death so that the real self will continue on! Really cool mechanic!

The camera for navigating through the maze was a bit troublesome though.

The game looks like a lot of fun but I can't shoot with the left mouse button!

Also, when the level rotates, the platform is too high for me to see the character.

Very souls-like for sure. The respawning in check  points at least help me progress and learn from mistakes. It would be nice if he was able to level - up and increase health a bit so I can progress further.

It would be nice to have more clues as to where I should find the end goal.

The idea is interesting. It would be nice if everything worked though.

The level was pretty simple with not much thought put into creating challenges. It seemed it was more of a test level to make sure the core mechanics worked.

I was looking forward in seeing the character in 3rd person which would have made it a bit easier for me to see it interact with traps and maybe also die.

(1 edit)

After playing this game, I was saddened by all the dear carcasses littered in the same lanes of the playing field.  There was no lose condition (was there?) The game was pretty easy. The only way for me to really win is to press ALT-F4.

This is a game for deer hunters who were killed during a freak hunting accident and put into Hell to play this game forever.

The core game mechanics are creative with the time you had to develop. I would have loved to see more difficulty building up when fishing. Maybe fishes resisting or breaking away from the hook. The fishing line could have some slight physics as you move the boat instead of straight up and down direction. I think after 3-4 days, the repetition really starts to show and the urge to continue playing dwindles more so.

Speaking of days, each day is "Day 1" which doesn't help me as to how long the progression goes, I noticed the fisherman getting older which was pretty cool. The use of a narrative is good between days but it would be nice to hear some more narrative as I fish. Maybe the narrative can be a slight tutorial and explain what the player should be doing in a more creative way.
